The Best Place for Travel

In my opinion, Colorado is the best place to having a vacation in the United States. There are lots fun things to do there. Last spring break, I have been to Denver for a week. Denver is the capital of Colorado. Downtown of Denver is the first place I have been. It’s a very bustling place. A lot of tall buildings are there. The government’s building is unforgettable. It has a huge golden cover, and it all made of the real gold! What a rich city! Also, the most famous things in Colorado are mountains. In fact, Denver is surrounded by different mountains. It has higher elevation than Kansas so it must be cooler than Kansas in the summer. The most fun thing I did there is skiing! I love skiing but in Beijing there are no good ski places. However, the Copper Mountain in Colorado is the best place to skiing I have never seen before! The mountain is so huge that may take you two hours to skiing down the hill. WOW! I spent three days there. All skin on my face has been burned because I forgot put any sunscreen on. It took me a month to recover. Even though this happened, I still feel this is valued. Next spring break I will bring more my friends to going there and have fun!

How to Purchase a Car in the United State

If you live in a small town such as Lawrence in the United State, you will like to buy a car as your vehicle because it’s hard to get everywhere by walk. Unlike other countries, have a car in United State is not that complex, but you still need to be thinking a lot. First step is search. That means found a car that is good or a car you like. It may take a long time. For some reason, sometimes found a nice car is really hard. There is no shortcut here. You have to check everything before you decide. The price is the most things that you care about. That also depends on with is the owner of the car. Often dealers offer higher price on same-type cars. When you finish the first step, you need to buy insurance. There are many insurance company want to sale their insurance to you. You have to pick up the cheapest one and the best one. A smart way to select is call intermediary company or person to help you. Sometimes it can save a lot of time to do research on it. The last step is register your car. If you live in Lawrence, go to the register department downtown. Bring your insurance and pay almost 10% taxes then you can get a licence plate for your car. My Favorite Place on Campus

When people talk with me and asked about my favorite place at KU, I always answer them without thinking. “The Wesco Under Ground” , I always answer like that. There are three reasons I can tell. First, I can always meet someone I have already known at there, so we can talk in English or eat together. Under Ground is a good place to improve my English. Second, the Under Ground located at the middle of our campus, and during break or any time, I can stop a little bit and take a rest there. It’s really convenient. It is near most of school building just like a transfer station for me. Last, the most important thing for me is they do serve Asian taste food at Under Ground. It makes me exciting and I eat those meal three times a week. Those foods are delicious. For these reasons, my favorite place will always be The Under Ground!
